Kiwi’s Crafty Corner - Month 1 Project - Brewing a Better Bin

This month I’m making a storage bin for cardboard recycling, but with a twist: it’s going to have a cauldron-inspired aesthetic.

The goal is to take something purely functional and turn it into something that feels a bit more interesting to look at, while still doing its job properly.

I’ll be documenting the full process from start to finish:
The initial idea and design
The plan and materials
What goes wrong once I actually start building it
How I fix those problems
And the final result, including before and after photos

Let’s see if I can turn a cardboard bin into something that looks like it belongs in a workshop or a witch’s kitchen, without it falling apart in the process.

Hey everyone 👋

It’s been a little quiet over here since December, but life has been full in the best way.

I got engaged 💍 started a new job, and even put an offer in on a house (wish me luck!). In between all that, there’s been plenty of dog adventures 🐾 and time with friends.

Behind the scenes, I’ve still been creating - completing t-shirt orders, working on some new bags, and slowly improving the website (when the Wi-Fi decides to cooperate 😅).

Big things are coming, and I can’t wait to share more with you all soon. Thanks for sticking around 🤍
