Today marks 10 years since Fellside purchased Ironworks! The site has a fascinating history, having been home to the Carnforth Ironworks from 1866 until 1929.

Many of our tenants may not realise the names behind their offices, one of which is 'Bessemer Suite' named after the Bessemer process which was the first inexpensive industrial process for the mass production of steel from molten iron.

A big thank you to everyone who has been part of the journey — tenants, employees, contractors, friends and everyone who has helped along the way.

We’re really proud of what Ironworks has become and, most importantly, that it’s still a busy working part of Carnforth.

Here’s to the next 10 years! 🥂

Today we say a heartfelt ‘goodbye’ to Becky who has been a truly valued part of our business family for the past 17 years.

I don’t think anyone has stepped through a Fellside door or site without interacting with Becky. She was often behind the scenes however more important than we can ever try to describe, not only to us but to you as the tenants, suppliers, and contractors we work with.

I’m sure you will agree she’ll be missed and we hope you can join us in wishing her all the very best for her new chapter and role on Monday!
