I’m excited to share that my photograph, “Vortex,” has been selected for Art Fluent’s online exhibition, Just Add Water.
Out of 704 submissions from artists representing 12 countries, I’m honored that this image was chosen for inclusion.
Vortex is part of an ongoing series I created experimenting with water, food coloring, light, and motion—all photographed at my kitchen table using speedlights and a healthy dose of curiosity. I love exploring how ordinary materials can become something unexpected- especially when viewed through the lens of a camera.
What began as a simple creative experiment evolved into a body of work that continues to surprise me, and I’m grateful to see one of these images recognized on an international stage.
