Butterfly bookmarks! I have a few of these that I've made and I love using them both as a bookmark and as book shelf decor when they're not being used.

They're available for £12 (inc UK delivery) on my Etsy.

Did I save this old canvas?

Loved making this one.
There's texture left over from the old painting but I painted a little thicker and I actually kinda love that you can see it's old story beneath the new one 💜🩷💙

Stay magical ✨

My eyes were still half shut from sleep whilst I enjoyed the cool of early morning.
Struggling to decide what to paint, the clock ticking down to my toddler waking, I took to the garden to find inspiration.
A pack of cheap dahlia tubers I had planted in the spring with little hope of growth were the first thing that grabbed my creativity. Their colours have been a surprise and a source of joy this summer whilst most everything else turns a sad shade of brown in the heat.
