It's been a long time since I have posted anything on here but just wanted to share this.
Over the last few days I have been sorting out my sewing room and have come across this. It's a "quillow".
I made it as part of my soft furnishings course quite a few years ago - I had forgotten all about it.
A quillow is a quilt that can be folded into a pillow. So as you can see mine is made up of individual squares that are buttoned together. These squares can then be folded up easily to help with storage and supposedly fit into a pillow sized case to create a pillow. That seems to be missing here.
The central squares for this one are also decorated with embroidery (French Knots) and sequins to look like lavender heads.
I'm amazed it's been sat in a bag on top of a cupboard for a number of years but doesn't look too bad. Now the question what do I do with it?
