Back in 2020, I poured my first wax melts at my kitchen table during lockdown.

I remember being completely overwhelmed by how lovely they smelled. I kept picking them up and smelling them over and over again.

Simon looked at me and asked:

“What are you doing?”

My reply?

“I’m having a little moment.”

And that’s exactly where the name Little Moments Melts came from.

What started as a small creative escape has grown into a business that now travels the country to shows and events, supplies customers across the UK, and this September celebrates its 6th birthday.

There have been early mornings, late nights, mistakes, lessons, tears, laughter and so many wonderful customers who believed in what I was creating.

Thank you for being part of this journey.

Being featured by the SBS Crew as a previous winner has made me stop and reflect on just how much this opportunity has meant to my business. 💙

Winning an SBS stand at Spring Fair opened doors I never imagined possible. Since then I’ve:

✨ Gained 11 wholesale customers (with several becoming repeat buyers)
✨ Increased my sales
✨ Built friendships with incredible winners that will last a lifetime
✨ Secured my place at Autumn Fair this September and Spring Fair again next year

Most importantly, it gave me the confidence to believe that Little Moments Melts belongs in these spaces.

What a way to finish an unforgettable 11 days at Hay Festival 2026. ❤️

Tonight, thanks to my wonderful friend Beth from Ewemoo, who sponsored the event, I was lucky enough to be invited backstage and meet Aled Jones after his show. Safe to say I was a little star-struck! 🤩

Moments like this remind me why I love what I do. A few years ago, Little Moments Melts was just an idea. Now I’m exhibiting at one of the UK’s most prestigious festivals, meeting incredible people, sharing my handmade home fragrance collection with thousands of visitors, and creating memories I’ll never forget.

To everyone who stopped by our stand, bought a candle, diffuser or wax melts, chatted with us, supported our small business, or followed our journey this week — thank you. Every single order and conversation means the world. ❤️

We’re heading home tomorrow to restock before setting off again for our next event, but tonight I’m taking a moment to reflect on what has been our most successful Hay Festival yet.

Today is our final day at Hay Festival, and what an incredible experience it has been.

To everyone who stopped by our stand, chatted with us, shared our products on social media, bought a candle, diffuser or wax melts, or simply took the time to say hello — thank you. Every visit, every purchase and every kind word means the world to a small handmade business like ours.

As I look around our stand today, I’m feeling incredibly grateful. From meeting wonderful customers to sharing the story behind every hand-poured fragrance, it’s been a week I’ll never forget.

Tomorrow we’ll be heading home to unpack, restock and refill the shelves before setting off again on Tuesday for the Royal Cornwall Show. The vans may be tired, but we’re excited to do it all over again!
