I focus on using reclaimed wood to create environmentally friendly and one-of-a-kind items. The wood I use for my products, is often recycled, such as floorboards, timber yard offcuts, scaffolding planks or even pallets. I try to reuse as much of the wood as possible. This may result in the occasional flaw like a nail or screw hole but I try to avoid this. I responsibly source all of my wood. The
wood can be rustic and chunky but also modern and contemporary. The nature of wooden products is that every piece is unique, therefore yours may have some knots, dips, or bends in the wood that adds to the character of the piece. It also means that the sizes may vary by a few mm each way. This wood is stained, painted or waxed, and available in several colours, please see the samples album for the various colours. Text material and colour – Machine cut vinyl, available in black, white or grey ( other colours available on request). Sign size - each sign can consist of one, two or three panels. All sizes vary, if you require a certain size please private message me or email your specifications. Personalised - Please type exactly what you would like on the first, second and third lines, add whether you would like any picture outlines etc. Your handmade sign or cottage is all made by me, every bit of it. I have pride in my products so I make sure that every stage is crafted to your exact requirements. I design, cut, sand, stain and finish your products with care and attention to detail. If you cant find what you are looking for, I take custom orders. I may charge an extra fee for this so please do send me a message and I will work with you on the idea you have in mind within the budget you have, no matter how large or small. As standard my signs come without fixings. Many of my customers like to use sticky pads or command hooks to hang these as they leave no marks or holes from screws. If you would like hangers on the back then please let me know and I will add these at no extra cost to you. If you require your sign for outside use, I will use a varnish suitable for outdoors, please let me know this in advance. If the sign is going to be directly exposed to the weather then varnish is easier to maintain each year with a fresh coat (like you would with fence panels). These generally take around 10 to 14 days to make, then 3-4 days with the courier. please enquire about postage as fees will vary, due to size and weight.
