Finally spent some time in the workshop. What with winter weather and flooded tools, and changes in my free time, it's been ages. Made this shot glass out of cherry wood so what better to pair it with then a spot of very nice cherry rum (not sponsored but open to negotiation 😂)

Yesterday I made this passive phone amplifier out of spalted beech. Beautiful piece of wood and a practical use too

Haven't made anything today because I need to do my real job, so here's a throwback to a few weeks ago.
The pot is made from oak and the lid is Sapele. The wood is reclaimed, probably rejected by the furniture industry. Somerset Wood Recycling have a great selection and also make garden furniture and things. Well worth a look.
