It is with a heavy heart that I am closing down my shop on 22nd August. I have absolutely loved my time here in the Village and will be taking a lot of memories and friends with me.

Unfortunately VAT rates, parking and online shopping are killing small businesses so please do support your local and independent businesses. Use them or lose them.

For me-I am so looking forward to focusing on myself, my family and other passions in my life. So please do come and say bye and grab yourself a bargain in the process….
Maybe stash away early Christmas presents at a fraction of the price ! ☺️

Using a rare day off to finish many decorating jobs at home!

The wall is painted in Annie Sloan Graphite Wall Paint, and using Graphite Annie Sloan Satin Paint on the skirting boards to finish off.

Toby Fletcher is a true inspiration. Toby, a friend’s son, is running one kilometre for every point conceded by Bristol Bears during the season to raise funds for the charity, who looked after his grandmother Nanny June, St Peter’s Hospice.
Toby’s challenge has already seen support from far and wide and has smashed his initial target of £6,000…

Furniture tires with age and easily gets worn down with busy lives, families, kids, dogs-the lot! (Just look at my kitchen floor for evidence!) but a quick lick of paint and these chairs are good as new!
