Sweet Stitches by Fay is launching AFTER-SCHOOL SESSIONS! 🎉

I’m so excited to be bringing crochet to Clip ‘n Climb & Soft Play Colchester for a brand-new trial session, and I really hope it’s the start of something lovely!

Sometimes you don’t need a whole afternoon to try something new. You just need a little pocket of time to slow down, get creative and do something different.

That’s exactly what these sessions are all about!

🧶 AFTER-SCHOOL CROCHET

📅 Wednesday 21st October
⏰ 4–5pm
📍 Clip ’n Climb Colchester
👧🧒 For children and teens
💷 £14 per child, including all materials

✨ Complete beginners are absolutely welcome!
✨ All materials are provided.
✨ Everyone gets to take their crochet creation home.
✨ Optional crochet starter kits will be available if they’d like to carry on creating at home.

🍕 Fancy making an evening of it? Children can add pizza afterwards - just order on arrival!

These sessions are designed to be a perfect little bite-sized activity. Just one hour, fitting neatly into that often-awkward gap between the school run and dinner time!

It’s an opportunity to try something new, learn a skill, build confidence and enjoy some screen-free creativity without committing to a longer block of lessons.

And because this is a TRIAL SESSION, if it proves popular, I’d love to make after-school crochet a regular addition to the Sweet Stitches by Fay diary! 🥹

So, if your child or teen fancies giving crochet a go, this could be the perfect place to start.

These little potted plushy plants were made as a little thank you gifts, and… I think I need to make more!

The plant that never dies, never needs watering and is the perfect little companion for anyone who can only give their plants the absolute minimum amount of love and care… 😂🪴

Tiny, cute and completely maintenance-free. What more could you want? 💚

A newborn order I packaged up last week…

🥹💙 This one includes so many little pieces for a Mumma who is waiting ever so patiently to meet her baby boy.

It included: A blanket for that journey home from hospital after meeting him for the very first time, little jumpers and cardigans to wrap around his tiny newborn body, a snuggly hat to keep his head warm this winter and tiny booties for his tiny toes.

I’m so grateful for every single one of my customers, but there’s something extra special about knowing that the things I’ve spent hours making will soon be wrapped around the most precious little person in somebody’s world will never stop being amazing. 🤍

I hope these little makes become part of so many precious first memories. 💙
