Today, someone ordered a Christmas card from my little business.

Just one card.

But what started as a simple order turned into one of the loveliest, most heartfelt conversations I’ve had in a very long time.

I won’t share the details, because some stories aren’t mine to tell.

But I will say that this person has touched my heart more than they’ll probably ever realise.

There were some incredibly kind words exchanged, a few tears on my part, and a little reminder of why I started Petal Moon Designs in the first place.

Because to me, it’s never been about simply selling something.

It’s about creating little pieces of happiness. Something that makes somebody smile, reminds them they’re loved, or gives them something beautiful to hold on to.

Sometimes we forget that behind every order is a real person, with their own life, their own memories and their own reasons for choosing something.

And sometimes, if we’re lucky, those people leave a little something with us, too.

I think this particular order will stay with me for a very long time. ❤️

And if the lovely person who placed it happens to read this, thank you. More than you know.

🌙 Even the Moon Has Phases 🤍

Of all the things I’ve created for Petal Moon Designs, this journal holds a particularly special place in my heart.

I wanted to create something that felt comforting. Somewhere you could turn when your thoughts feel a little too loud, when life feels overwhelming, or when you simply need a moment to yourself.

A physical journal to hold in your hands, fill with your thoughts, and return to whenever you need it.

There are no expectations here. No perfect answers. No right or wrong way to feel.

Just a gentle reminder that, much like the moon, we all go through phases. And we deserve kindness through every single one of them. 🤍

I’m incredibly proud of this little journal, and I hope it brings someone else even a fraction of the comfort and warmth I wanted to put into it.
