A few autumn photos before it’s officially November?!

We moved into the house a year ago this week and it’s absolutely flown by. Pumpkins will forever remind me of when we moved in as they covered the doorstep then too 🎃

I made a mistake and only got one big pumpkin from Lidl as I couldn’t carry more, but now I still need to find 3 more. Today’s job is searching the supermarkets for pumpkins!

My Birthday/Christmas presents have looked a little different since we bought this house 🙈 but I honestly wouldn’t have it any other way.

Some people ask for clothes or a new bag, others ask for stained glass windows or a lamp 🙈

I’m interested to know am I the only one doing this or do others find enjoyment in getting these kinds of things as presents?

I’m not the biggest link sharer but I’ve been asked so many times where these things are from, so I thought it was easier to put all the details together in one place! If there’s anything else you’d like to know please ask ☀️

We caught up with celebrity traitors last night and couldn’t stop laughing at Richard - I’m hoping he survives the round table as I’m not ready for him to leave just yet 😂🙈

A photo dump of all the photos I took over the summer and didn’t post ☀️

We decided to pause on the kitchen project over the summer to enjoy days out instead. Sometimes you have to admit you can’t do it all at once!

Here’s to the children being old enough that you can drive 3 hours to visit the beach just for the day 🌊

I had so many questions about this area after my ottoman reel that I thought I’d put all the details in one place 🤎

Blinds - Blinds 2go | Blinds, Curtains, Cushions & Shutters Pure linen, light filtering Roman blinds
Rug - Kukoon Rugs
Ottoman/lamp - Habitat
Panelling - Skirting World | Skirting Board & Architrave
Sofa - MADE.com
Colours - Walls Drop Cloth, Panelling Whimborne White, Ceiling/skirting School House White

Ps how nice has the weather been this week? Everytime the sun shines it floods through this window and makes the whole area glow☀️

It’s not very often that you find the exact thing you want in the perfect pattern, the right size and within budget. But the stars aligned when this ottoman popped up on my feed.

It also doubles as storage for all our essential snuggly blankets which don’t necessarily fit the living room aesthetic 🙈

The bay is finally looking how I imagined it would 🍂

My camera roll from the past few weeks ☀️

It was a tough call between my favourite part being my new mug or the new toilet door 😂

We’re busy in the kitchen these next few weeks ticking off all the unfinished jobs. It was the first room we plastered and we haven’t even painted the pre primed skirting boards 🤯 Please tell me others do this too?

On our list - paint architrave, paint bay window and window seat, install bay window blinds, hang the wc door and paint the back door 🙊 just a few jobs to keep us busy during the summer holidays!

A little appreciation post to the silent partner of this account - the one who without him none of it would have been possible 🤎

Here’s to the men who take every idea and make it reality, who take on all the jobs whilst juggling full time work and family life too.

There were definitely times it all felt endless, but looking back on these early pictures makes it all feel worth it 🙌🏼

It’s been a minute 🥹🥹🥹

My one week ‘break’ has accidentally led to two months, so I’m not sure if anyone will even see these updates 🙃
I stopped posting to try to protect my account (it’s a long story) but I’ve missed creating and chatting with everyone on here so much.

Swipe to the end to see the biggest update win for me! My arch door of dreams is currently being made and will hopefully be ready by the end of June 🤞🏼
