I really noticed the difference in light when I finished work yesterday. Normally, when I leave the office it's pitch black but darkness only descended when I was nearing home. It lifted my mood so much...funny how things like this can affect us!

Yesterday, the light looked beautiful pouring across my bedroom so I snapped a few shots.

Today is day six of having covid and I'm grateful to not have any symptoms, but I am getting cabin fever with my two year old!

Emilia is going through an adorable phase of roaring like a lion in our faces to frighten us. I just can't take the cuteness.

In other news, I've succumbed to Covid after my husband caught it a week ago. Now we are both in isolationz it means we have Emilia at home with us, whilst we work. Wish me luck!

Yesterday was hard...I think there has been such a build up to Christmas this year, especially after last year's disappointment, that I almost felt bereft at the thought of returning to work. It didn't help that when I left the house it was still pitch black and when I got home it was pitch black.

I'm so ready for summer and the warmth of the sun. Maybe going to the beach and collecting some shells...manifesting that right here with my latest print 🐚🖤.

Dave and I went out out this weekend, hired a baby sitter and everything! (Anyone in the Croydon area need a recommendation give me a shout). I attempted to do some last minute Halloween makeup, which is near impossible with a two year old that wants to help, I'll share my lewk to my stories later. I hope you all had a great Halloween!

I captured the autumn sun this weekend. I love how at this time of year golden hour glow flows across my bedroom 🤍

My spring/summer clothes pile has moved from this chair onto the floor as I loved the compotision too much. How long do you think it will take me to put the pile in the vacuum seal bag? There's a large possibility they'll remain on the floor until Spring rolls back round 😇.

This photo is mainly to show off more of Emilia's scallop wall, whilst showcasing one of my prints 😃. What do we think? I love the dark blue wardrobe next to the pink! (Let's ignore the beige carpet though).

I haven't really shown off the handpainted scalloped wall I did in Emilia's room and I've realised I don't have any photos! Here is a just a glimpse of it...must take some more to show it in all its glory.
