How I finally stopped waiting for the perfect moment and started creating my own. ✨
This year, I sat down and built a vision board that finally brought my dream to life — not just as an interior designer, but as a business woman stepping into her purpose.

Seeing my goals in front of me every day shifted everything: my confidence, my energy, my belief that I could actually do this.
And little by little… the vision started becoming my reality.

If you’re waiting for a sign to start, consider this it. Build the vision. Believe in it. Then move.

2026 interiors are here early, and I’m loving every detail—timeless, tactile, and totally livable.

1. Blue Is Back

Deep, saturated blues are returning in a big way. Shades like cobalt, teal, and inky navy add richness and depth to a room, whether on walls, tiles, or furniture.

2. Browns Getting Deeper

Brown tones are becoming darker and more chocolatey. These rich shades create a warm, cocoon-like atmosphere and make art and textiles stand out beautifully.

3. Quieter Interiors

Spaces are leaning toward calm, understated design. Soft colours, natural materials, and a mix of modern and antique pieces create peaceful, grounded rooms.

4. Softer, Looser Joinery

Instead of perfect, built-in cabinetry, designers are choosing relaxed, characterful pieces — like vintage chests, fabric-fronted storage, or classic sinks — for a more effortless look.

5. Textural Textiles

Fabrics with real texture are becoming key. Woven, handmade, or naturally dyed textiles bring warmth and personality, whether used on walls, cushions, or upholstery.

6. Small-Scale Prints

Tiny, delicate patterns are on the rise. These subtle prints add interest and softness without overwhelming a space.

7. Mosaic & Tiny Tiles

Little square tiles are making a comeback, especially in bathrooms. They bring a retro-modern feel and look great paired with warm wood finishes.

Stepping Out of Someone Else’s Version of Me

I’ve noticed a pattern—how certain people only show up when I return to a space they consider theirs. Suddenly, there are posts, advice, or guidance offered in a way that feels less like support and more like control.

For a long time, I thought it was me—I thought I was “dropping,” “out of rhythm,” or “not aligned enough.” But the truth is: I was just being me—raw, honest, human—and that was never the problem.

I no longer take on the weight of other people’s need to manage or shape my experience.

You do not get to define where I am, who I am, or how I grow.
You do not get to perform “care” while silently asserting control.
I see it. I name it. I step out of it.

This is my space now.
I don’t move from guilt, approval, or correction.
I move from what’s real.

If you’re here, come with respect—or keep walking.

Some cute spots I found on a few excursions around central London.

I loved the arches...they create an intimate space with the enclosed path that leads to the docks where there is more light if you are walking during the day. I suppose at night this would look even more spectacular.

The other spot was a shop located on Pimlico Road. It had some very inspirational pieces that I admired.
