New client enquiries begin with a meeting with a member of our sales team to discuss premises, site plans, customer number requirements and budget to gain an understanding of your primary goals and requirements. Following this discussion the sales person will work closely with the design team to produce a bespoke design working to your specified budget. A project manager will be assigned to you who will work with you throughout the process of build/installation, working to a programme. Ifse form part of the Springboard Group which is made up of five leading catering equipment distributors. We are deeply saddened to share the passing of Andrew Fordyce, Chairman and founding member of ifse Group. Andrew passed away peacefully on 10th January 2025, leaving behind an incredible legacy of leadership, innovation, and dedication to the hospitality design industry.

From his early days in hospitality management to creating ifse in 1991 with Ron Hodge and Bill Moore, Andrew’s career was defined by his creativity and passion. He brought his vision to life, designing iconic spaces for renowned brands like Williams F1, Kew Gardens, and Sony.

As a leader, Andrew was not only a pioneer of ideas, but also a champion for his team, guiding ifse’s transition into an Employee-Owned Trust in 2022, a first in the industry.

His spirit, kindness, and innovative mind will forever be a part of the ifse family and the wider industry.

Thank you for inspiring us all, Andrew. Rest in peace.

On Friday, the ifse, Romann Catering Equipment Engineers, and the Bettaquip family came together to celebrate our Christmas bash at The Store in Croydon 🎄

We partied in the stunning, preserved space that once housed Sainsbury’s grocery store in the early 1900s. The team enjoyed delicious dishes, fancy cocktails, and fantastic music.
