This week we're highlighting Connor, who has joined Arria Furniture Group as part of a sixth-year work experience placement.
Connor spends one day each week with our team, gaining first-hand experience of how a modern manufacturing business operates while developing practical skills that will support his future career choices.
Providing young people with opportunities to experience the workplace is something we strongly believe in. It helps bridge the gap between education and employment while giving students valuable insight into different career paths.
We're delighted to support Connor during his placement and look forward to helping him gain as much experience as possible during his time with us.

At Arria Furniture Group, we're committed to creating opportunities for local people and supporting pathways into long-term employment.
Earlier this year, Ben joined our factory team through the Routes to Work programme, an initiative that helps individuals develop skills, gain experience and access sustainable employment opportunities.
Now six months into his role, Ben has become a valued member of the team, contributing across our manufacturing operations and continuing to develop his skills within the business.
Programmes such as Routes to Work play an important role in connecting local employers with local talent, helping people build confidence, gain experience and establish rewarding careers.
We're proud to support initiatives that create positive outcomes for individuals, businesses and the wider community, and we're delighted to see Ben thriving as part of the Arria Furniture Group team.

We're growing.

Due to continued demand, we're looking to add two new team members to our manufacturing facility in Cumbernauld.

The roles will support our production team across assembly and packaging, helping us deliver high-quality kitchens, bedrooms and fitted furniture to customers throughout Scotland.

We're looking for people who:
• Take pride in their work
• Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Can work well as part of a team
• Have an eye for quality and attention to detail

Previous manufacturing experience is beneficial, but reliability, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are just as important.
