My name is Sarah, and I started my small business in 2012. I began with making a plaque for my mum, then went on to making plaques for the stables I went to, friends, family and so forth. I soon got overwhelmed by the orders that came flooding in. Word of mouth soon took effect 😂 As I also worked a full time job, I found it all too much, therefore I took a long break from it all. In 2021, I got wi
th a very special person, he was very creative and encouraged me to get myself back up and running. He helped me create a craft room, which I love being in. He helped me build up my storage, stock and loved to help making little pieces with me. It was our special little room where we let our creative imagination run away with us. He used to come over with bags of gifts from Hobby Craft, knowing how much that made my day 🥰 he made me an advent calendar at Christmas, with each door having something related to crafting 🥰
Unfortunately I’m 2022 he passed away. I wanted to shut myself away from everything. But I knew how much he would want me to keep going and do what I loved doing. I’m so thankful for the inspiration he left, with thanks to him I have now grown from where I started back in 2012. A few months ago I had to take another short break while I transferred my craft room to a bigger space.. but I’m now back up and running again
My orders are beginning to come in again, and this time without a full time job getting in the way 😂 I now have time to spend doing what I love, in a bigger room, and with the thought knowing that Chris will be egging me on from up above 💕
