Three new skeins of hand spun yarn available from my studio in in Moretonhampstead!

This morning I had a little experiment at core spinning some silk laps…I think it turned out quite nicely 😊I used a lace...

This morning I had a little experiment at core spinning some silk laps…I think it turned out quite nicely 😊
I used a lace weight h**p yarn as the core and spend ages pre-drafting the silk - it’s an uncooperative fibre but I did feel a good sense of achievement in giving it a go as although it’s a waste product and beautifully soft and shiny in the right light ⛅️
