Hope everyone is having a good Christmas!

Just a business update that I’m still closed and not taking any orders.

As you’ve probably seen from countless other businesses and bakers, with the cost of everything, its just not worth being open (especially to do cakes) as the prices of everything has sky rocketed. I hardly turn my oven on these days!

On top of that i’m enjoying being a mum so all of my time is being spent chasing a toddler around the house 😂

Next year, we should be starting some house renovations which will massively improve my ability to work so we have that to look forward to 🥰

Hopefully I’ll be back in 2024, lets see how the economy is 😂 I might be cooking on a campfire at this rate!

A little business update...

I've spent a little bit of time working on a care guide and allergy, colours, inedible etc information printables and.... they are now available to purchase from my etsy store! 🥳

I’ve seen some people prefer to print their own or don’t want to buy a ton of leaflets, especially if they only do occasional orders. It also takes the stress of writing up your own information cards!

There are separate ones for storage types (fridge and room temperature) They are also generic so they can be used for any of your baked goodies!

Although they are based for UK customers (as it has colouring information on them) You could use them still if you are not from the UK.

They come in a set of A4, A5 and A6 PDFs. I currently have pink, grey/marble and purple available but I'm working on some other colours.

If you are or know someone who bakes commercially or maybe someone who requires information like this for a bake (eg. wedding venues sometimes ask for this information for a wedding cake, even if you're a hobby baker) then please send them my way!

I know i’m on hiatus but it’s my mum’s birthday on Tuesday and she wanted some cupcakes to take to work! 🥳🧁

Carrot cupcakes with vanilla icing and chocolate cupcakes with whipped ganache and topped with caramel chocolates… all of these are vegan!

Can’t wait to eventually open again ❤️

Important, please read!

Unfortunately, due to other circumstances I’m putting Bakey’s Emporium on hiatus. (Nothing bad so don’t worry!)

Any orders currently booked in will still be going ahead.

Baking is what i love so i’ll be back soon I promise. I’m just not sure when that’ll be 💖

What a busy Saturday we had for cakes! 🥳

I think we’ll start with my nephew’s second birthday cake!
🦕 The Good Dinosaur was the theme this year! Arlo was a bit of a challenge to make but I think he came out great! 😍

I wonder what his cake will be next year 😁
