Learning a new skill to add to my belt, what is that phrase?
“Jack of all trades but a master of none” - people love to say it like it’s a bad thing.
But actually the whole saying goes like this;
“Jack of all trades but a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one”
My favourite thing my mum and I say when we’re out and about in fast fashion shops or shops selling wholesale things often made not very well is “we could make something better than that”
And honestly… I think that’s such a powerful mindset to have.
Not in a negative way, but in a creative, curious, let’s try it ourselves kind of way.
Always learning. Always making. Always improving.
Let’s live intentionally, not just accept what’s in front of us but have the belief in ourselves that we can do hard things.
Learn to crochet that hat, bake that bread, grow your own veggies.
