𝕐𝕠𝕦’𝕣𝕖 𝕒 𝕄𝕦𝕞 𝕚𝕟 𝕒 𝕞𝕚𝕝𝕝𝕚𝕠𝕟! 💚🧡❤️

During our most recent week of After-School Craft Club in three different schools, the children created beautiful handmade paper hearts especially for their mums. To make it even more special, we filmed a little surprise! 😍

One by one, each child shared a message to their fantastic Mums. 🌹

Some were shy, some were giggling with excitement, but every message came straight from the heart. The crafts they proudly held were personalised, handmade and made with love, just for you, Mums! 😍

Moments like this remind me why I love running my after-school Craft Club so much. Watching children grow in creativity, confidence and artistic expression makes my work so meaningful. 🫶

To all the wonderful mums — this little video is your Mother’s Day surprise from your creative stars. I hope it makes you smile and feel proud. 🏅🏅🏅

If your child appears in this video, please share it on your profile and tag me so we can celebrate their creativity together! 😋😉🙃

It isn’t just about cutting and glueing—it’s a world of imagination, creativity, and learning! Here are some amazing reasons why paper crafting is such a fantastic activity for kids, and that's also why your little one should join our Craft Workshops in Spondon, Derby:

1. Boosts Creativity and Imagination 🧠✨
Every fold, cut, and colour choice lets children express themselves and turn ordinary paper into extraordinary creations! It encourages them to think outside the box and dream big.

2. Builds Fine Motor Skills 🖐️🎯
Cutting, folding, and glueing help strengthen hand-eye coordination and dexterity. These small movements prepare little hands for writing and other essential tasks.

3. Encourages Focus and Patience 🕰️💪
Paper crafting teaches kids to slow down, follow steps, and enjoy the process. They learn that great things take time—and effort!

4. Boosts Confidence and Pride 🏆😊
When children see their finished creation, they feel a sense of accomplishment. “I made this!” becomes a powerful confidence booster.

5. Inspires Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking 💡🧩
Figuring out how to fold or design something challenges kids to plan ahead and think logically—while still having fun!

6. Encourages Mindfulness and Relaxation 🌈🕊️
Crafting can be calming and joyful, offering a peaceful moment away from screens and busy schedules.

7. Promotes Sharing and Teamwork 🤝💬
Crafting together builds social skills, cooperation, and the joy of giving handmade creations to friends and family.
