The glamorous life of a glass artist!!
Spending the afternoon dripping inside a coverall and latex gloves whilst slathering black goo and whiting (chalk dust) all over your work! (It got much, MUCH messier than this but I forgot to take photos).
All worth it to give the panels some strength.

A little wren - making its voice heard!
This is before its final firing. I needed to apply the small amounts of red and yellow quite thickly again as they burn off in the kiln and become much paler. It came out just right and is now set in a small hanging with pale green and rich orangey/browns.
