I hope our Retford Carpets family and our surrounding communities can rally behind this. This is a cause and a need for all businesses and locals to get behind and support—there's no excuse not to.
One of our own lost his life while crossing the road to get to Ranby Prison, where he provided advice, guidance, and a friendly ear to those who have made mistakes in life.
This MAN, gave up his time to help improve the prospects of those in Ranby, so they could become better versions of themselves when released back into the communities from where they came.
A new father to a stunning little girl and a great family man—taken too soon in the pursuit of truly helping others.
I feel it is only fair and just that we can all step up for him and his family and collectively rally to help make crossing the road safer at Ranby Prison for others....
Please can you spare a whopping three minutes of your time this Sunday afternoon or evening to sign this petition to ensure there is a safer means for people using the overspill car park at Ranby to get across the road safely.
Try putting yourself in this family's shoes, even just for a second. As his friend, his wife, his daughter, his mother and father—and think:
what if that was me?
what if that was mine?
As a newish father myself, I was truly speechless when I heard this. And for those who know me, a lack of voice isn't something that happens often.
Speechless...
In the words of David Bowie, signing this petition means:
"We can be heroes, just for one day."
My heartfelt thoughts, love, and strength go out to his entire family.
Sincere and warmest regards,
Rick & the entire team at Retford Carpets
Please be a hero and sign the petition—help save future lives.
