📋 THE RETFORD CARPETS TEAM
👤 Rick – The Start-to-Finish Guy
• Role: Estimator & Project Lead.
• The Scoop: Rick is our go-to guy from initial measurements to final completion. He makes sure your project runs smoothly from start to finish.
👤 Gaz – The Master Fitter
• Role: All-Round Flooring Installer.
• The Scoop: Gaz is a fully qualified Quick-Step Master Fitter, tackling LVT, carpet, vinyl, and safety flooring with ease.
• Fun Fact: When Gaz started, he was 6ft 6. Now he’s 37 and 5ft 7! He claims carrying all those heavy carpets has shrunk him down over the years—but hey, at least clothes are cheaper now! 👕.
👤 Mitchell – Our Gentle Giant
• Role: All-Round Flooring Installer.
• The Scoop: Mitchell handles everything from Carpet and Vinyl to Safety Flooring, LVT, and Media.
• Fun Fact: Standing at a solid 6ft 6 (he’s been eating his Weetabix since he was 6 months old!), Mitchell tosses heavy carpet rolls like cabers. He’s definitely ready for the Highland Games! 🌾🏋️♂️
👤 Tracey – The Powerhouse Trainee
• Role: Trainee Installer & Media Specialist.
• The Scoop: Tracey is brilliant with LVT, floor preparation, uplift, and removal.
• Fun Fact: Proving that women can do absolutely anything, Tracey can casually lift two recliner chairs—one in each arm—while effortlessly navigating through doorways! 💪🛋️
👤 Lee – The Singing Fitter
• Role: Carpet, Vinyl & Safety Flooring Specialist.
• The Scoop: Lee brings fantastic energy and expertise to every project.
• Fun Fact: Much like Rick and Gaz, Lee sports a broad Yorkshire accent. He’s often accompanied on-site by his "silver-foxed" dad. If you're lucky, you'll catch them duetting during a fitting—their absolute favourite track is The Jungle Book’s "I'm the King of the Swingers"! 🎤🐻
👤 Jake – The Ultimate Professional
• Role: Laminate, LVT & Safety Flooring Installer.
• The Scoop: Jake is highly skilled at getting hard flooring laid down flawlessly.
• Fun Fact: Polite, caring, and professional, Jake is officially the guy you hope your daughter brings home to meet the family! 🌟😊
