Wendy is a Scottish designer of home interior products. She graduated in fashion from The Scottish College of Textiles and immediately gained recognition from her peers as a talented designer, producing top selling products for well known brands. After working as a freelance fashion designer for several years, a commission opportunity arose introducing Wendy to the world of bespoke carpet design.

A debut collection was well received, with Vitality, a vibrant design in reds inspired by the incredible Australian outback, selected as a finalist for a top industry award. Rug Design Company was formed in 2004 and re-branded to Wendy Morrison Design in 2013.

In Wendy’s home, just beyond the bedroom, the dressing area is cocooned in our Solace wallpaper, creating a warm, golden backdrop for the antique furniture and Vogue Deco rug.

For Wendy, the bedroom has always been somewhere to exhale.

With deep Georgian cornicing and tall windows looking out towards the garden, Wendy’s bedroom already had a wonderful sense of calm. Rather than working against that feeling, Wendy embraced it, wrapping the walls in our Joie de Vivre wallpaper panels and surrounding them with soft, restorative greens 🌿

Every story has to have a beginning … 🌸 and this one happens to start with Geisha Florals.

Florals have always been a defining signature of Wendy’s designs, woven into each collection through symbolism, storytelling and colour.

Our latest floral journey began with Geisha Florals, inspired by Buddhist philosophy and the deeper symbolism found within flowers. From there, Healing Florals was born, followed by our beautiful floral trio, An Enchantment of Florals.

And if you look closely, you’ll spot the latest design inspired by this collection , Jasmin 🌸 Coming later this year.
