THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR SUPPORT THIS YEAR!

It's certainly been eventful with reasons to celebrate, and some big challenges to overcome! There have been some notable changes in our industry and globally adding some unexpected pressures which have certainly made this year a wild ride for many. As a collective we can definitely aim to make this better next year - to help each other and achieve positive outcomes!

Through it all, we’ve kept our focus on what matters - good values, looking out for our clients and each other, and designing buildings, spaces and experiences that inspire. A massive thanks to all at LIGHTALLIANCE, our clients, collaborators and everyone else who made this happen.

As the holiday season unfolds and the New Year approaches, let's look out for each other and embrace the spirit of festive cheer - Seasons Greetings to all!

Our studios and staff are taking a well deserved break and will re-open on 5th January - See you Next Year!!!

Misk Schools Campus has been awarded the Sustainability Lighting Project of the Year at the Light + Intelligent Building Middle East awards!

It is also the First School Project in the Middle East to receive WELL Gold Precertification, it has also been awarded LEED Gold certification.

The Misk Foundation invests in empowering the youth of Saudi Arabia with a focus on Education & Entrepreneurship, Culture & the Creative Arts, and Science & Technology. The Campus comprises of 9 Schools and ancillary buildings all joined by a sports spine, with many facilities designed to Olympics standards (catering for 24 different Olympic sports).

The project makes good use of natural light and employs a modular design approach to optimise efficiencies and controls which make it easy to use, and to save energy.

The Misk Schools Campus was one of the first projects we delivered as part of the Misk City | مدينة مسك project. Kudos to Kevin Grant, Jamie R Watt, Shane Seares, Sarah Cockbain, Kristine Señora from our LIGHTALLIANCE project team and of course to BSBG - Brewer Smith Brewer Group and Design Engine Architects for Architecture and Interior Design.

It's fantastic to see the project get recognized amongst so many other great projects and for such a prestigious award!

What an amazing end to a fantastic week in Dubai! Misk Schools Campus winning the Sustainability Lighting Project or the Year at the Light + Intelligent Building Middle East awards - this means a lot to everyone who made it happen. The LIT Awards 2024 winners have just been announced!

It's fantastic to see our lighting designs for W Edinburgh get recognition amongst so many other great projects and learn that the project has won the Hospitality Lighting Design award !

Light + Intelligent Building Middle East have unveiled the finalists for the 11th Annual Light Middle East Awards! - https://lnkd.in/eJhWnAWW

Its great to see MISK SCHOOLS CAMPUS shortlisted as a finalist for MEA Project of the Year and W Edinburgh shortlisted for International Project of the Year. Both very challenging and very rewarding projects to be part of - so it's fantastic to see them get recognition amongst so many other great projects, products and contributors!!!

Looking forward to the Light Middle East Event and Award celebrations in Dubai in January - Good luck to all the finalists!!!

We were delighted to learn from Build Back Better Awards today that the W Edinburgh project has won the Gold Award in the lighting category - Huge thanks to all that made this happen, Nuveen, a TIAA company, W Edinburgh, Jestico + Whiles, and all others involved!

After the magnificent celebrations at the W Edinburgh premiere launch event last month, it is wonderful to now learn that the project has been shortlisted as a finalist for the Scottish Design Awards in the Lighting Category!

The teams who were involved have all worked so hard to make the visions for W Edinburgh become a reality, under some very challenging conditions... It’s wonderful to see these efforts being recognised, amongst so many other great projects, artworks, designs, and initiatives!
