I’m so delighted to be a last-minute addition to the Tuppenny Barn Food Fair tomorrow, from 11am–4pm! 🌿🐚

For those who don’t know, I’ve been part of Tuppenny Barn’s journey from the very beginning. My class at Chidham Primary School was one of the first groups Maggie took under her wing when she started out, and I later spent many happy years as a trustee.

Tuppenny Barn has always held a very special place in my heart, so it feels lovely to be returning tomorrow in my new role, with Sandbar Shell Art. 💙

There promises to be a wonderful selection of stalls, so come along to eat, drink, be merry… and, most importantly, shop! 😉🛍️

Thank you for your patience, for listening to my VERY specific requests 😂 and for helping me feel a million dollars for an evening out in London town! 🥂

And a special thank you to Danielle for allowing somebody else to touch my hair after 20 years—it was a big moment! 😂❤️

It was such an honour to be invited to the Real Deals Sustainability Investment Awards, where The Final Straw Foundation were the chosen charity. 🌊💙

Another lovely reminder of how far Sandbar Shell Art has come, and the wonderful people and opportunities it has brought into my life. Who knew collecting shells would lead to evenings like this?! 🐚✨

Four nights in beautiful Valletta, and the Osborne Hotel was the loveliest place to call home 🇲🇹☀️

My friend and I stayed at the beginning of October in a gorgeous twin room—clean, calm and quiet, with lovely Maltese character. Opening those shutters each morning… what a treat! 😍

Comfy beds, hot showers and a fridge to keep our drinks cool for our adventures. Then a little rooftop sunshine and a cooling dip in the plunge pool… lovely! 💦

Breakfast was a real highlight, with so much choice. Olives for breakfast? Absolutely my kind of holiday! 🫒😂 The breakfast team were so kind and helpful, too.

A special shout-out to “Michael One” and “Michael Two”, as we affectionately named them! Thank you for the laughs, your kindness and for putting up with us! 🤭❤️ Every member of staff made us feel so welcome.

And the location? Perfect for wandering Valletta’s gorgeous streets, exploring the sights and finding somewhere lovely for dinner. ✨

I’m slowly finding my way back… and this Sunday you’ll find me at the Port Solent Waterside market! 🐚💙

After an enforced break from markets and workshops, I’m easing myself back in, and I can’t think of a lovelier place to start.

This market is one of my favourites for so many reasons. Lisa organises everything so seamlessly and with such kindness, and has supported me through a really tricky time. I love the other traders too — some have become invaluable friends. 🥰

And Port Solent is always a hive of activity, whatever the weather! With restaurants, bars, the cinema and the car meet happening on the same day, there’s plenty to make a Sunday of it. 🚗🍴🎬

Whatever brings you down, please come and say hello — it’ll be lovely to see some familiar faces and meet some new ones! 👋
