I’ll be at the Emsworth Show tomorrow! 🐚💛

Having lived in Emsworth all my life, I’ve been going to the show since I was a child, so to now be there with SandbarShellArt feels like such an honour.

Please come along and say hello! I’ll be there from 10.30am–5pm at The One Church Showground, Thorney Road.

It’s such a great day out for everyone, with the dog show, food, craft stalls, fairground, live music and, of course, the wonderful horticultural marquee 🌸

Children under 12 are FREE and tickets are £7 on the gate.

Hope to see lots of familiar faces there! 🐚✨

Such a lovely afternoon for our second SandbarShellArt workshop with Brent Lodge Wildlife Hospital 🐚🦔

A huge thank you to The Bosham Inn for having us, and to the brilliant group who came along — with ages ranging from 10 to 86!

There was lots of rummaging through shells and sea glass to find just the right piece for each picture, and I absolutely love seeing how differently everyone creates theirs.

The thing that makes me happiest is hearing people say how relaxing they find it. A couple of hours to switch off, have a chat, get creative and make something completely unique. 💛

And even better, 50% of every ticket price went to Brent Lodge Wildlife Hospital to support the amazing work they do for local wildlife.

Alex and I are busy planning our next workshops between now and Christmas, so if you’d like the booking information when the new dates are ready, drop me a shell 🐚 and I’ll make sure I send it over to you.

And if you have a suggestion for a creature you’d like to make - we’d love to hear your suggestions in the comments!

Sometimes you see something and you just know it belongs with you… ❤️

Those who know me know how much I love my birds — my chickens, anything feathered, and I’m rarely far from a pair of binoculars! 🐔🦅🔭 So when I spotted this rather handsome gentleman at The Spring Market in Havant, there was really no question…

Silvio Gulliano had to come home with me. 😂🐦

Apparently he’s always been the curious one, so I think he’ll fit in rather well. He’s now taken up residence amongst the shells and is officially joining me on my SandbarShellArt adventure. 🐚🌊

And then there’s my lovely pirate… although, quite frankly, I really want to be her mermaid pal! 🧜‍♀️🏴‍☠️ How could I resist a little bit of beachy art for my beach hut, Sandbar? Just LOOK how perfectly it fits! 🥹

One of my favourite things about markets is discovering and supporting other makers — and these two fabulous ladies are just another reason to head to Midhurst Meraki Market on 19th September.

Although be warned… you may go to sell your own art and come home with everyone else’s. 😂❤️
