My first commercial mural is complete! 🎨

A huge thank you to The Cranford Club in Exmouth, who were selected for my free mural offer. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to bring this wall to life!

Four days of painting, and I absolutely loved every single second of it! ☺️

Calling Exmouth business owners! 🎨

I’m Kate from Moss and Lime. I’m a wall designer based here in Exmouth, and I’m looking for one local business with a blank wall that I can transform into a hand-painted mural to help launch my mural portfolio.

There’s no charge for my design, time or labour — I’m just asking for a contribution towards materials. ☺️

If you have a café, shop, salon, gym, studio, bar or other local business and have a wall that could do with something a little different, I’d love to hear from you!

Or if you know an Exmouth business that would be perfect for this, please tag them below. 👇

🎨 AMAZING OFFER FOR ONE LOCAL BUSINESS IN EXMOUTH! 🎨

COULD YOUR WALL BE MY NEXT MURAL?

Hi, I’m Kate, a wall designer based in Exmouth. Alongside my Venetian plastering, I’m branching out into hand-painted murals and I’m looking for a local business with a blank wall I can transform to help kick-start my mural portfolio!

A mural can completely change the atmosphere of a space, adding bags of personality and creating something your customers remember and talk about!

Whether it’s fun, funky or simply beautiful, it could even become the perfect backdrop for customer photos and selfies — something people want to share, tag your business in and come to recognise as part of your brand.

With this offer, I’ll work with you to come up with a design that suits your business and your space and the best bit? there will be NO CHARGE for my design, time or labour! All I ask is for a small contribution towards materials, creative freedom, and permission to photograph and film the finished mural for my portfolio and social media. ☺️

So, if you own a café, bar, restaurant, salon, gym, studio, shop (or somewhere I haven’t thought of!) I’d love to hear from you.
Please feel free to get in touch with a photo of your wall and dimensions or tag someone you know might be interested. 💕

Inspiration for my next project 🤎

With autumn just around the corner, these colours feel perfectly timed — layers of soft cream, mushroom and earthy taupe, with a beautifully weathered, worn-back look and subtle hints of gold peeking through.

Soft, imperfect and full of texture. I can’t wait to bring this one to life.

Soft movement, natural texture and a finish that changes with the light.

This double-height stairwell and adjoining hallway in Exmouth, East Devon was finished in Marmorino KS, a traditional lime-based Venetian plaster.

The brief was to bring warmth and character to the space while keeping the finish soft and neutral. The natural variation in the plaster changes throughout the day as the light moves across the walls — one of my favourite things about this finish.

Hand-applied in layers to create depth, movement and a subtle sheen.

Concept for next project. Layered mineral texture. Soft movement, raw edges. Subtle and wild.
Perfect for feature walls, fireplace surrounds and media walls.

Industrial texture with the depth of raw concrete and the grain of weathered timber.
Like wood cast concrete — layered, mineral, tactile, and imperfect in the best way.

Raw yet refined, a beautiful collaboration.
