What started off as a passion grew into something bigger, and then got stripped back to its core: simplicity.

Grateful for the chance to connect with inspiring, like-minded women in business recently. The creativity, ideas, and energy were absolutely mind-blowing. 💡💬

I run two businesses—I’m a candle maker and a Pilates instructor. Different, yet deeply connected. Both promote calm, balance, and good energy. ✨🕯🧘🏾‍♀️

✨Hi, I’m Mimmy 🤎
A Nigerian maker based in Penryn, Cornwall — by way of The Netherlands.

I started during my pregnancy, when I realized that most candles gave me migraines. I looked into what was in them… and what I found wasn’t just worrying for my health, but for the environment too.

So I paused, rethought everything, and started fresh.

Now, all of my candles are made with a sustainable coconut & soy wax blend, hand-poured into reusable amber jars for both style and durability. I use soy-coated wicks for a clean burn — no toxins, no smoke, no headaches.

From 50g minis to 3-wick 400g jars, everything is made with care, honesty, and simplicity.

This past Friday & Saturday, I got to showcase my soaps at a local festival — and the compliments kept coming! 🧼✨ It truly reassured me that I’m on the right path.

One thing I did notice, though I need to rethink my soap packaging. With so many hands reaching for them, I’m debating whether wrapping them is the way to go 🤔.

Next step? I’m signing up for a local market soon to do two things:
1️⃣ Sell more products
2️⃣ Collect feedback + emails for future updates & surveys

In the meantime, I’ll be repricing and organising everything properly before restocking. Big love to everyone who stopped by and supported me — you make this journey worth it! 🖤🤍
