So, what exactly do we do?

Well, that's a very good question! 🙃

For anyone who's new here, we're Hayley and Martin, the husband and wife team behind Fox & Furb.

We're upholsterers, furniture designers, makers and creatives who love nothing more than getting stuck into something a little different and collaborating with other creatives.

From traditional upholstery, bringing old furniture back to life, to contemporary design, bespoke commissions, woodworking, metalwork, events and the occasional completely bonkers project.

We love the old, we love the new, and we REALLY love the unexpected.

We've never been very good at sticking to one thing, and to be honest, we wouldn't have it any other way!

So whether you've been following us for years or have only just discovered us, welcome to our wonderfully varied world of Fox & Furb! 🧡

What a wonderful day at Decorex celebrating AEVEN's A Seat at the Table! ❤️

So lovely to finally meet Sharon from Twisted Eye in real life, catch up with my Make It at Market buddy Dionne, and spend time with fellow designers Tom Faulkner and Freya Rose. We also made so many wonderful new connections within the AEVEN community, which really is what makes events like this so special.

A huge thank you to Alex Dauley and Grant Pierrus for being such wonderful organisers and hosts. It really was a privilege to be part of your vision and see so much creativity and talent brought together.

And of course, thank you to Decorex for hosting, Soho Lighting for the beautiful ambience, The White House Interiors for the gorgeous draping and Williams & Yates for the incredible logistics that brought it all together!

Here's to new friendships, future collaborations and being part of such a wonderfully creative community! 🥂

11–14 October | DECOREX 2026 Starts today ✨

Three of our original furniture designs are making their Decorex debut as part of AEVEN's A Seat at the Table!

Meet the Dom barstool, Mac low stool and Poodle bench, all part of Roots, our growing furniture collection.

Designed by us, Hayley and Martin, in Hampshire.
Roots brings together our love of playful shapes, beautiful textures and unexpected details, with upholstery, woodworking and metalwork at the heart of what we do.

We're heading to Decorex tomorrow and can't wait to see our pieces in the installation!

Our designs are available for private and trade clients, with bespoke fabrics and finishes.

Come and take a look! 🦊

| Can we just throw it back to the 60s Dolce Vita style for a minute? 🍊🌼

And give a shoutout to some of the amazing people and businesses who helped us create our Goodwood Upholstery Cabin set up this year.

We love supporting other UK makers and small businesses whenever we can, so it felt only right to fill my little upholstery studio at Goodwood with some of our favourite brands too.

We had the gorgeous Dolce Vita print, kindly gifted by , fabric books and samples from our fabric houses we use in our studio, and even turned a wallpaper sample into artwork for the walls. If you spotted all the little details, you were paying attention 👀

And finally a HUGE shoutout to the amazing Alex at who absolutely nails our button board artwork every year. Designed by Martin and then printed onto velvet. People genuinely couldn’t believe it was printed fabric and we had SO many compliments on it! 🌼🌸🌼🌸🌼

A proper little celebration of brilliant design, print, pattern and UK businesses all in one space ❤️

With a splash of grooving at the button bar for good measure.

Thank you to everyone who helped us make the Fox & Furb studio at Goodwood feel so us.

Cosy season is creeping up....

~ We have Ronnie our favorite seat/bench/side table hugging our sofa ready for a good cuppa.

~ A cosy bench in the hall for taking off boots ect

~ And we will have a shuffle round of the soft furnishings at some point (we are holding on to the sun vibes for now...)

Day 1 at Goodwood Revival and our Mini sofa has already made a few new friends!

Some fabulously dressed guests popped by to take our upcycled Mini for a spin and we couldn’t have asked for a better first day.

Built from a genuine classic Mini front end, reimagined by us into a fully upholstered sofa. Turns out it makes a pretty good photo spot too.

Two more days to go, come and find us at Revive & Thrive!
