Some new glazes I've been testing out for... quite a while now!

Some of these are the "First 5" floating glazes (recipes from glazy ) paired with some of my older dolomite or the matt magnesium based glazes I was working on last year. I really love how they all work together in a more abstract application, and particularly over a transparent base - it lets the glazes interact a bit more and means I don't need to worry about the runner ones getting to close to the bottom of a piece!

The 4 cups are already on their way to their new home in the States, and some of the other pieces will be coming with me to the in Folkstone on the 30th May

It feel like a while since I made more ... "Traditional " style pieces, by which I mean not using gold, or funny phrases or snakes and dogs, so I hope you like them!

We used our christmas present voucher to have a safari and afternoon tea at

Scroll to hear some noisy Gibbons, some snacking gorillas, cute wallabys, a Lynx, and a beautiful Orangutan having a play in a bag.

Thank you for a lovely day love you as much as I love an afternoon tea and monkeys (which is like, loads)

Just a girl and her crochet vest...

If you've seen any of my stories recently, you may have seen parts of this in progress! This little cutie is my first crochet garment following a proper pattern! Its the Iris Vest from Crochet with Carrie, which I technically made in the wrong yarn weight, but I love her! I've already started a jumper from the same designer!

Had a really fun time at Spring Festival yesterday!

Big thanks to everyone who came for a chat, mooched about, had a dance or made a purchase! I met lots of lovely people and made some great sales too, as well as some lovely dog pats!

These super fun and completely adorable plates came out of the kiln this morning!
I've wanted to make some plates with a different shape for a while now, and just came up with the perfect combination of design and illustration!

Love how it pairs with my "horrors persist" cup, which I'll also definitely be making more of!

Spent a bit of time combining 2 of my favourite passions yesterday - crocheting 21 of these raindrops for a ceramic wall piece!

Swipe to see the initial hanging I made 5 or so years ago! I really like the addition of textiles to ceramics - it adds a bit of warmth, a bit of movement and makes it even more tactile.

I made a few smaller versions of this motif too, with some ceramic raindrops to attach which will hopefully be ready for upcoming markets/restocks!
