💚 Muscular Dystrophy Awareness Month Giveaway 💚

This is something a little outside my comfort zone, as I don't often talk openly about my disability. 💚

But this month, I wanted to share a little more of my story. Alongside being a florist and running my own small business, I also live with limb-girdle muscular dystrophy (LGMD), and I’d love to use my little flower business to help spread some awareness.

So, what better way to do that than with flowers? 🌷

I’m sharing this because many people have never heard of LGMD, and awareness really does matter. Disability and muscle weakness can look very different from person to person, and there is so much more to someone’s story than what you can see.

LGMD is a group of rare genetic muscular dystrophies that cause muscle weakness, often affecting the muscles around the hips and shoulders. Everyone’s experience can be different, and many people know very little about it.

Although living with LGMD can bring challenges, it doesn’t stop me from building my business, creating beautiful flowers and doing something I love. 💐

If I can help raise awareness, encourage someone else living with a disability, or simply show someone that having a disability doesn’t mean you have to give up on your dreams, then I’m happy.

Anything is possible! 💚✨
