Custom paintings, like this one here, take about 16 weeks to complete. Part of that is because I have other paintings that need to be made, photographed, color corrected and uploaded, packed and shipped.

Part of it is also that when I work with a client to make a custom painting, I email them throughout the process to make sure that I'm on track to make a painting that they will be thrilled to own - and it may take some time for a client to email me back with feedback.

Some clients are very particular - the colors I use need to make sense within the room where they intend to hang my painting, or they want to see their pets, etc.

Other clients give me lots of room to maneuver - I'm the artist, and they paid me to do my thing.

Most clients are in between. They appreciate the email updates with images of their in-progress painting, and the details about what I intend to do next, and ask for minor adjustments along the way.
