💧 Water Damage & Mould — Bearsden

Another job completed by PATON Painting & Decorating 🎨

This property had been affected by water damage and mould, so the first step was getting the surfaces properly treated before any decorating could begin.

The mould was treated, blocked and inhibited, giving us a clean and suitable surface to work from. We then carried out the decorating work to bring the room back to a fresh, clean finish.

This summerhouse had never been painted, and the decking was definitely looking worse for wear.

After a thorough pressure wash and careful preparation, the customer supplied all the materials for this project.

🏡 The summerhouse was finished in GoodHome Multi-Surface Matt Paint – Inuvik, giving it a fresh, modern look.

🪵 The decking was finished with Cuprinol Anti-Slip Decking Paint in Silver Birch, transforming the space while providing a safer, more durable surface.

As the customer supplied the paint, I can't comment on or guarantee the long-term performance or lifespan of the products used. However, the preparation and application were carried out to the highest standard.

Another full hall, stairs and landing completed by PATON Painting & Decorating.

This home had years of wear and tear, including: 🎨 Walls with heavy marks and damage 🔨 Chipped and cracked ceilings 🚪 Heavily yellowed woodwork

Before a single coat of paint was applied, every wall and all woodwork were scraped, filled and dustless sanded to create a smooth, durable finish.

Products used: 🩵 Walls – Crown Clean Extreme in a fresh teal finish 🤍 Ceilings – Brilliant White Extra Matt 🤍 Woodwork – Aqua Guard Satin in Brilliant White
