Weekend photodump ✦ A dreamy day at Edinburgh’s Craft and Flea 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Spent yesterday wandering around the Craft and Fleas market in Edinburgh and oh my... it was absolutely stunning! ✨ The creative energy was unmatched, and I honestly wanted to take everything home.
Here are a few of my absolute favorite finds and makers from the day:

🍰
The cakes are actual works of art! Almost too pretty to eat (but way too delicious not to). A total dream for anyone with a sweet tooth!

🎨 Natalia
Obsessed with their Riso prints! The vibrant colors and unique retro textures are just perfect for adding some character to any gallery wall.

🌸 Dipping Resin Flowers
Delicate, translucent, and incredibly detailed. They catch the light so beautifully and look incredibly elegant.

🐈 Felt Animals
The most adorable, fluffy little felted animals with the cutest expressions. Absolute serotonin in handmade form!

🪵 Lino Works & Stained Glass
From bold, textured lino prints to gorgeous stained glass pieces, the craftsmanship on display was just incredible.

Still riding the creative wave from our workshop! 💙✨

A massive thank you to the wonderful team at Ricefield Arts and Cultural Centre for inviting me to host The Cobalt Journey of Stencil Tile Art! Thanks to their platform and support, I had the absolute privilege of sharing my passion and connecting with creative souls from all corners of the globe. 🌍✈️

I also want to say a huge thank you to all the students for being so incredibly active and chatty in the chat box! Your energy, curiosity, and shared thoughts made the session so lively and special.

For this class, we worked with a beautiful ”East-Meets-West“ interlocking tile pattern—blending traditional Cantonese Auspicious Clouds with the graceful Lotus blossom—which was made available as a downloadable template for everyone.

The real magic happened in the process! I absolutely loved guiding everyone through the tactile journey of cutting their own reusable stencils and sponge-printing. Through our wonderful conversations, we all gained a whole new level of appreciation and understanding of this classic cobalt blue.

I hope everyone who joined had a relaxing, peaceful evening slowing down and rediscovering the simple, grounding joy of hands-on crafting. ✂️🎨

A beautiful day out at one of my absolute favorite spots! 🏛️✨
I spent the day soaking in the incredible atmosphere at the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum for the Summer Market hosted by Tea Green Est.2014 . There is something so magical about seeing so many talented independent makers showcasing their work under that stunning roof.
It was the perfect summer day out—feeling so inspired and ready to get back into the studio! 🧑‍🎨🌿

Still smiling thinking about the car boot sale with Glasgow Chinese School Multicultural Centre ! Beyond the chatting and selling, I had the ultimate honor of hosting a mini pet portrait painting session. ✨
Art has such a beautiful way of bringing people together, and teaching you all how to capture your pets’ personalities was so incredibly rewarding. Seeing the proud smiles at the end is why I love what I do! 🫶
Thank you to my lovely students for diving in and creating magic on the spot.

4th market experience since moving to Glasgow, and it was a special one! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇭🇰

My Duke of Wellington mugs and prints went so fast this time. I am truly grateful to everyone who came out and supported my original “East meets West” Glasgow designs. Seeing you connect with this blend of cultures means the world to me!

🎨 A Heartfelt Thank You to Ricefield Arts! 🌾

I want to express my deepest gratitude to for providing this incredible platform for myself and so many other artists. Because of their amazing team handling all the behind-the-scenes admin work, I’ve been able to completely focus on what I love most: preparing the absolute best for my students! 🖌️✨

Speaking of my classes, I loved sharing the beautiful concept of The Four Gentlemen from Chinese culture. Specifically, the Orchid (Spring), which symbolizes purity, elegance, and humility—values that truly resonate in our creative space. 🌱🌸

🌍 A Truly Global Classroom
One of my absolute favorite things about teaching online is how students join from all corners of the world! From Portugal and London to the USA and beyond, our virtual studio has no borders.

I love that we are constantly learning from each other—not just about art, but about culture too. For instance, I just learned that in some countries, the number 3 is considered unlucky! 😗 Every day is a school day!
