Always disappointing to see work like this. High traffic area and no support across joists on cut chipboard flooring! Customer constantly getting creaking/movement and uneven flooring.

Installed some 3x2 dwangs using what I had on me. looking great now, solid and no creaks and a member of the spacer family living in their new home ❤️

Door previously broken into many moons ago with original landlord special repair. Using flexible resin filler to fix. Saved as much original wood as possible to save on filler as it’s £65/tube and £36 for super fine filler! Can’t wait to see the door finished!

Sanded and painted. Nice to do outside work when the weather is good. Cuprinol ducks back on the fence 3 coats (if you want a solid colour, then I would recommend a paint such as Ronseal shed and fence paint).

Classic shower room. I didn’t get a before picture!

It was siliconed over the grout lines which also spread over the tiles. Mould dots everywhere. I spent a long time scraping that all off the tiles and grout lines. Old grout was removed and regrouted and siliconed at the corners.

Tiles at the bottom were coming off due to dampness getting through poorly tiled walls. Previously installed was an integrated plastic/seal lip at the base that was not sealed properly and causing capillary action, pulling the water through the gap and soaking plasterboard behind.

Advised in future it will need ripped out to the studs and replaced if they wish to have it changed as it wasn’t installed very well originally.

Gap beneath workbench filled with a customer cabinet and wine rack of sorts. Still to be painted by customer.

I was given free reign on design.

Originally it was going to be a straight line to the back. Changed how the cabinet transitioned to the corner for a bit more symmetry and style. Happy how it turned out, especially when the floor was as flat as the moon’s surface, but that’s how period building are!

Can’t wait to see it painted!

Electrical cover box. I was given free rein on this design. Instead of something basic, I designed a box that was in keeping with the age of the building and not look intrusive.

The lower box was a challenge as I had to negotiate the thick electrical cables and door during install!

Installed unpainted but I think my customer did an excellent job on painting this!
