Restored in situ.
This tiled insert was repaited, the lovely floral tiles had paint cleaned off and polished. We supplied and fitted the new fire front and an inset electric fire.
We then gave the period oak surround a good clean a really good polish to get that nice rich oak dark colour back into the pale dried wood and the result was great. Very pleased.

Another antique marble surround and cast iron arched insert restored for our customer in Kenilworth
The marble surround was very dirty, very brittle, chipped, broken and almost scrap but we managed to clean all of the pieces, get them glued back together, brace the whole surround, rebuild it, fill the chips and cracks and gave it a traditional wax finish.
our customer was amazed after we refitted it for her with the resetored arch. We managed to find her a fire basket to sit insde the arch at a later date.

A recent restoration project for one of our customers in Loughborough. We completely resrestored his cast iron insert and tiles and re fitted it with his original slate surround that he wanted to leave unrestored. We also supplied and fitted the specially made gas fire for him.
The pictures show the installation process with the fitting of a new lintel.

This project was a recently restored antique arch and pine surround.
The surround was in very poor condition and required a lot of repair but overall with the modern contemporary colour it has turned out very well.

We have recently restored five fireplaces for one of our customers, they wanted them restoring on site and left in situ.
Luckily they were going to re-decorate each room after we had finished.
The first one was an original Georgian hob grate and marble surround, the second, an original arch with local stone slips, one large kitchen range and two identical bedroom hob grates with local stone slips.
