Trial and error is a huge part of the process. Don't forget you're only seeing the finished, insta worthy version of everyone's work on social media 😅 There's usually a page full of colour swatches, wonky brush strokes and failed ideas before the final piece comes together.

One of my favourite, and simplest watercolour tips is to keep a scrap sheet next to you while you paint. Test colours and opacity, and try out little details and ideas before they go anywhere near your final piece. It might not look pretty, but it saves a lot of heartache!!

When small businesses cheer each other on 🫶

I met up with Tyler from .books the other day, and it was SO lush to meet one of my TikTok buddies in real life ❤️

In some very exciting news, we're doing a little IRL collab! This year I'll be stocking Tyler's beautiful whimsical colouring books on my market stalls! 🍄

We figured our little businesses complement each other really well (especially once my alcohol marker range is ready) so why not support each other by swapping products for our markets and events?

If you don't know Tyler already, she's a UK-based colouring book creator and an all-round wonderful human. Even better, £1.50 from every colouring book sale goes to charity, which I think is pretty blooming lovely ❤️ Pop over and give her a follow if you haven't already.
