Last week I had the pleasure of meeting Harold Gosney

It was a real honour to meet, in person, such a significant artist, responsible for many of Grimsby's public art pieces, and a genuinely lovely man

Mr Gosney was in town to witness the demolition of Abbey Walk Car Park and his sculpture pieces integral to the car park's architecture

He also took the time to visit our project, People Make Grimsby in Freshney Place. I was pleased to show him our community art space and our work exploring local print heritage. Mr Gosney also gave his approval to the Abbey Walk risograph prints we've produced on our new risograph machine, our tribute to Grimsby's brutalist landmark

All profits will go back into more local heritage projects
