Note to self ... when say take a break, take a break not end up at a massive flea market on the other side of the country in red hot temperatures wandering around a massive showground .... 🥵 .... however, did manage to come back with some very nice pieces including these two orange opaline bits 🧡 ... nice Fiorentina glass vase and a 1970s opaline glass lamp with floral decoration. No shows until mid September and away from Friday so if interested in either get in touch quickly or watch for when I'm back (circa 11th June).

Clear out time .... got two IKEA clock classics ... the small grey table clock is the Klunsa Y2K by Mikeal Warnhammer circa 2001. The yellow wall clock is the Kvarta designed by Henrik Preutz circa 1999. Both work. The back of the Klunsa doesn't want to stay shut so I've got a piece of tape holding it. Could be an easy fix.

Only asking £20 each, happy to do both for £30. Postage possible at buyers cost. DM if interested.

Trying to be good and enjoy some downtime before heading away for a break but so chuffed I bought this I thought I'd jump back on here and show it off. Love a multi level table especially with built in lights (you may recall the one in the last pic that lasted all of 45 mins at Sheffield last year before it was sold). Now I'm going to say, I don't think it's all 100% vintage as the table bases look newer and the brass struts haven't any age so whether it's a repair job I don't know. The lamps & the legs are definitely of age so it may well be someone salvaged them and rebuilt what it was originally. But, damn, it looks good sitting in a room. If you're wanting that 70s look/statement piece for your house this is doing that for you.

Not at any fairs until June so if of interest just DM.

Bit of a different post to usual stuff .... I've got a free end who has got 8 of these shades. Holophane plastic shades but unfortunately no galleries. He's asked me to ask if they're of interest to anyone on here. Not sure what price he's asking as he'd be more interested in selling in lots rather than singularly.

They stand 30cm high, the bottom opening is 42cm diameter and the top is 16cm. All in great condition, no cracks or chips. Don't think they're very old but the building they came out of had been in use since early 90s so could have been put in then. Look nice in a commercial premises such as a bar, restaurant, trendy clothes shop or a pair in a big kitchen.

Collection only from Peterborough.

So the restocking process has started and I've managed to add another IKEA vintage classic to the stock I recently showed in another post. Which isn't a bad thing as the pair of Sweden-only released yellow lamps and the Projector by Ola Wihlborg sold at Nottingham.

This is a 1980/90s Fillsta lamp by Gunner Jensen. A designer known for his distinctive lighting, particularly with IKEA, his designs often feature a modern geometric style and uses materials such as plastic to create eye-catching pieces. And this is certainly one. Love the orange glow the lamp gives.

As I'm not doing any shows for a while, if this is something you need now please DM asking for details. Postage is an option too.

Only word to describe Nottingham on Sunday .... great turn out, loads of stock going around off to new homes for second lives .... and great venue .... bit of downtime for me now, couple of social occasions and a trip to Italy means no shows until back at Sheffield on 14th June. But what a show to go into the break from .... thank you for finding another great location 👏🏻👏🏻 ....

Hmmmm ...... sorting stuff for Nottingham on Sunday and realised I seemed to have accumulated a collection of IKEA vintage lamps .. 😳 ... from left to right ... Ledet, pair of Sweden only release lamps, Fyxnas and Projector by Ola Wihlborg. Wonder if IKEA would like them back 🤔 ... nah, all up for sale ... all coming to Nottingham but DM if interested in any.

So Leeds was nuts again .... nearly an empty van headed back to TVC Towers .... thank you all who bought from me, stopped by to chat, always fun standing there.

And now on to a new venue but in a city I'm fond of .... Nottingham. When the crew announced they were going there it was booked asap. Done a few small fairs around there and always been a good place to sell so hopefully the Nottingham people will get behind this one and challenge the Leeds & Sheffield venues for top dog honours 😉
