Farrow & Ball Brinjal bringing all the moody vibes to this bathroom 🤎

This colour was way outside our clients comfort zone, but they trusted us (and the process!) and went for it.

Fast forward to the end of the project, when we asked what their favourite part of the whole house was… this bathroom!

One of our favourite ways to bring texture and character into a space.

We love their beautifully imperfect finish, subtle variations in colour and the way they catch the light. No two tiles are quite the same, which gives a room that lovely handcrafted, lived-in feel.

Perfect for adding a little depth, colour and personality - especially when you’re not afraid to embrace the imperfections. 🤍

Week 3 & 4 at Project Sandal ✨

The last couple of weeks have been all about furniture, fabrics and keeping that schedule firmly on track!

We’ve been busy placing orders, chasing suppliers and making sure everything is lining up for the weeks ahead. Meanwhile, Emily has been ticking off deliveries as they arrive and opening some very beautiful parcels along the way!

The dining chairs are already a firm studio favourite and somehow they’re even more gorgeous in real life. We can’t wait to see them around the dining table!

Lots happening behind the scenes and lots more still to come… the Christmas countdown continues! 🎄✨

What we got up to in September 💫

September absolutely flew by, and looking back, we managed to squeeze quite a lot in!

We continued with the installation at Project Sandal, designed a new bedroom in Harrogate, space planned a new renovation ready to start the design process this month, worked on a few more rooms at our South Woodford project, and continued designing Project York.

October is already looking like a busy one! We’ll be presenting both Project York and Project South Woodford, with me spending some time up in Yorkshire & Emily coming down South!

Lots of designing, presenting, travelling and installations ahead… October, we’re ready for you! 🍂✨

I’ve nearly neglected my social media duties for two whole weeks… so posting on this beautiful Friday to make it only 10 days 😂

The weeks are absolutely flying by at the moment!
I escaped to Cornwall for a long weekend with Teddy & family, which was just stunning - lots of beach walks, fresh air and a much-needed change of scenery 🌊🐾

I’ve also recently moved into my new home, so evenings and weekends have mostly been spent exploring our new area, attempting to garden, and, of course, trying to design the house!

Unfortunately, my taste and my budget don’t seem to be on the same page… which is making things slightly more challenging 😂 But I’m determined to find a way, and I’ll be sharing all my budget-friendly finds along the way - including, believe it or not, a DFS bed frame!

Anyway, here’s a recent bathroom scheme!

Living Room ✨

A living room we designed earlier this year for a client in North London, where the brief was all about creating something warm, earthy and inviting.

We layered natural tones with rich textures and statement pieces to give the room that cosy, collected feel. One of our favourite details has to be the ottoman, upholstered in the most incredible Pierre Frey fabric - we can’t wait to see the real thing delivered very soon!

And that Pooky ceiling light… an absolute dream.

We love seeing a design go from concept to reality, and this one is nearly there! 🤎

Week 2 at Project Sandal ✨

Unforeseen work is inevitable with renovations, and last week Project Sandal threw a little curveball!

The flooring between the spaces was much more uneven than expected, and now that everything is open plan, it needed to be sorted. Luckily, it’s all been resolved with no delays to the schedule.

Meanwhile, the dogs have been taking site life very seriously… mostly by sunbathing through the works. 🐶☀️

We’ve also got the most romantic wallpaper going into the WC and cannot wait to show you that transformation.

Kitchen at our Islington Project 💛

The photography has landed in our inbox and, wow, what an email to receive! Be prepared for plenty of beautiful spam making its way onto our grid over the coming weeks…

First up, shout out to the perfect shade of butter-yellow, Farrow & Ball Hay No.37. We absolutely love how warm and joyful it feels.

Believe it or not, this was actually a kitchen facelift… albeit a pretty major one! We kept the original carcasses and gave them all-new door fronts, completely remade the island, and added a beautiful timber cupboard to cleverly hide away the coffee machine.

A lovely example of how you don’t always need to start from scratch to completely transform a space.

A dream kitchen, if we do say so ourselves! 💛
