I am mainly a watercolour and oils artist. This was the first book I've illustrated, so I needed a whole new drawing vocabulary. But this was FUN! I think young readers will get a kick out of the story about....well....(stinkbombs). Hence the title, Stinkbomb.

Stinkbomb was written by my friend Michelle Fitzsimmons, who has four children...so it had lots of preview reads!

Here's one of the almost 100 drawings in a new older kids/early teen book to be published shortly. It was great fun. The book will be published JUST in time for holiday gifting. (I'll let you know exactly, and how to get one for your young person who wants to laugh A LOT.) The concept is hysterical, and so are many of the characters. Here is one:

I am almost finished with the illustrations for a new book for the pre-teen group. The final stretch might require lashings of gin; it is a massively illustrated book, wonderfully written by Michelle Fitzsimmons. We have been collaborating on projects for several years now. I'm going to give you a wee tiny sample of some of the artwork.....because the book should be on the market shortly.
