🎃👻 SPOOKY SEASON HAS ARRIVED AT MAMA MARSHALL’S KITCHEN ACADEMY! 🍪🕷️

Our cooking classes are getting a Halloween makeover this week, and we’ve got some frightfully fun baking planned for our little chefs! 🧙‍♀️🧡

The children will be getting hands-on making their very own Halloween-themed cookies 🎃👻 They’ll be weighing, mixing, rolling and cutting out spooky shapes before bringing their creations to life with some creepy, colourful decorations!

But what happens while our cookies cool down? 👀

We’ve got plenty of Halloween-themed fun and activities planned to keep our little chefs entertained! There’ll be lots of fun to enjoy before it’s time to get creative with the icing and decorations. 🦇🕸️

Every little chef will have the chance to show off their creativity, develop their cooking skills and take their delicious Halloween treats home. 🍪🧡

At Mama Marshall’s Kitchen Academy, we’re all about learning new skills, building confidence and, most importantly, having fun in the kitchen!

It’s going to be a spooktacular week! 🎃👻

👩‍🍳 THIS WEEK AT MAMA MARSHALL’S KITCHEN ACADEMY! 👩‍🍳

We’re getting stuck into QUESADILLAS 🌯 and APPLE CRUMBLE 🍎 this week!

The children will be making their own quesadillas, choosing their favourite fillings and learning how to prepare and cook them themselves.

Then it’s time for something sweet… homemade apple crumble! 🍏 They’ll be making the crumble from scratch and, of course, getting to enjoy their delicious creations.

Our sessions are all about real cooking, building confidence, learning new skills and having fun in a relaxed and friendly environment.

There’s nothing better than seeing the children proudly say, “I made this myself!” ❤️

👩‍🍳✨ WHAT ARE WE COOKING THIS WEEK AT MAMA MARSHALL’S KITCHEN ACADEMY? ✨👨‍🍳

We’ve got another fun-filled session planned, with plenty of cooking, creativity and hands-on learning! 🥰

👧🧒 Our Junior Chefs will be making:

🥐 Chicken & Cheese Pinwheels
🥔 Seasoned Potato Wedges

The children will prepare their own filling, roll and shape their pastry, create their pinwheels and season their wedges before popping everything into their very own ovens! 🔥👩‍🍳

And for our 13+ chef, we’ve got a special challenge…

🍅 Tomato Bruschetta & Garlic Crostini
🍝 Homemade Beef Lasagne from Scratch

He’ll be learning how to make a proper beef ragù and béchamel sauce, build his lasagne and work on his presentation skills. 👨‍🍳✨

I love being able to give our older chefs a little extra challenge while the younger children get to work independently on recipes suited to their age and ability. ❤️

And of course… once the food is in the ovens, it’s time for our activities! 🎨🧩✨

👩‍🍳✨ ANOTHER AMAZING WEEK AT MAMA MARSHALL’S KITCHEN ACADEMY! ✨👨‍🍳

What a week we’ve had! 🥰 And this week, the children had something very important to say…

“We want to make DOUGHNUTS!” 🍩

And doughnuts it was! 😂❤️

One of the things I love most about our Kitchen Academy is that this isn’t a class where I stand at the front and tell the children exactly what they’re going to make every single week.

Their voices are heard. Their ideas matter. And they get to be creative. 🥰

I want our sessions to be genuinely child-led — giving the children the freedom to explore, experiment, make choices and, most importantly, HAVE FUN! 🎉

Yes, they’re learning cooking skills along the way… but they’re also building confidence, independence, teamwork and creativity without even realising it. ❤️

And honestly, watching them get stuck in, laugh, make a mess, help each other and proudly create something they’ve chosen themselves is exactly what the Kitchen Academy is all about! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳🍩

There were plenty of giggles, a fair bit of mess and some VERY happy little chefs this week! 😂

I couldn’t be prouder of them all. 🥹❤️

👩‍🍳🧑‍🍳 ANOTHER MAMA MARSHALL’S KITCHEN ACADEMY DAY! 🧁✨

It’s Kitchen Academy day! 🎉

Our little chefs are back in the kitchen today, ready to mix, bake, create and get a little messy! 😋👩‍🍳

I absolutely love watching the children grow in confidence each week — learning new skills, trying things for themselves and, most importantly, having FUN while cooking! 💙

From measuring and mixing to decorating and tasting, there’s always something exciting happening in our kitchen! 🥣🍴

Last week the children made pizzas!! Even the dough was made entirely by them.

🌟 LOOKING FOR A BUBBLY, FRIENDLY PERSON TO JOIN OUR KITCHEN ACADEMY! 🌟

Mama Marshall’s Kitchen Academy is growing, and I’m looking for someone to come along and help with our Thursday morning Home Education sessions.

At the moment, this would be around 1 hour on a Thursday morning, helping with the children, activities and generally being an extra pair of hands during the session.

I’m looking for someone who is:

✨ Bubbly, friendly and approachable
✨ Great with children
✨ Able to use their own initiative
✨ Happy to get involved and have fun
✨ Confident taking the lead with activities when needed
✨ Reliable and enthusiastic

Experience working with children or within a similar sector would be an advantage, but it definitely isn’t essential — personality, enthusiasm and the ability to connect with the children are just as important! 😊

As Mama Marshall’s Kitchen Academy continues to grow, my long-term plan is to eventually have someone working alongside me Monday–Friday during school hours, term time only, so this could be a lovely opportunity for the right person to grow with the business from the beginning. 🌟

I’m so excited to announce that I have now opened a Home Education class on Thursday mornings! 👩‍🍳🧑‍🍳

The sessions are designed to give home educated children the opportunity to get hands-on in the kitchen, learning valuable cooking skills while having lots of fun along the way! 🍕🥕🧁

At Mama Marshall’s Kitchen Academy, children will get to explore food, try new ingredients, build confidence, develop independence and, most importantly, enjoy the experience of creating something themselves! ❤️
