*BEFORE & AFTER* We were tasked with updating this dated but structurally sound kitchen - our dedicated joiner replaced a couple of doors and sprayed it a beautiful bright blue and we chose a statement stone from to give some life to the L-shape kitchen with a tricky structural post in the way. We updated the lighting and added these custom stools in a blue wool from . We also added a coffee station in a side niche matching the units with a cupboard that hides a compact laundry area. Making the best use of space while making a kitchen statement ✨

Ok I’ve written this caption 10 times and IG is being funny and losing my post each time 😣 so am keeping it short(er!) Sooooo… we combined two rooms to create a large suite with a beautiful bath area … wardrobe was sectioned off with crittall and a sheet to hide the wardrobe rather than hard doors. Beams were installed to frame the ceiling height and microcement was used on the walls throughout - love it with the binissalem stone tiles ! The balcony had a new bench seat with locally sourced tiles, and the sink had my fave lights from the brilliant in Palma… ok here goes, am posting, please don’t lose it again IG ! Ps starting our new Mallorcan renovation this month so keep eyes peeled 🥰👀

A renovation project of a pretty period rental property that had been badly damaged after an extensive flood from mains pipes beneath the property. The project was for a client whose home we had worked on previously and as it was a rental home we kept to a tight budget. We stripped out the dated decor (orange pine everything!) and renovated it using simple materials and a natural palette . We installed an inexpensive kitchen from but upscaled it with our own hardware and stone. The surprising result of the painful flood was a brand new home - it then went on the market and the sale went through shortly after.

So back to it in full today, on this grey and icy Monday. We are still slightly crawling out from under our Xmas blankets but nice to be back! January always feels a little slow but also a time to plan for the year and get on top of some admin. We have some interesting things coming this year not least exhibiting for the first time as Stellar Editions ( .editions ) at some wonderful events and building up our collections on that side with some wonderful creators. The design studio is back in full swing - continuing with some longer projects we have been working on for the last 2 years as well as some interesting projects in the pipeline.. more to follow !

We are making changes in the office and continuing the efforts to see how we can use new tech effectively, but knowing also that the personal element and our dedicated human service is so key to our offering. Working and building those human relationships with our clients, suppliers and tradespeople is key but also so enjoyable and something that tech advances won’t replace but we will keep pushing in all the right directions there. 📠

I’ll be honest, IG has been a tough nut to crack, even for me I find it a harder place to navigate and get the content I really want but we will continue to post images and stories of what we are up to. BUT again we know that it’s our offline efforts that reap the most rewards - we are super grateful for people who follow us and always hope you like what we show - thank you for being here ! ❤️

One last piece from me, I can’t not mention the terrible events in Crans Montana this NYE - having lived in Switzerland and having kids of those ages, I have found the news completely devastating. It was a story I couldn’t tune out from as felt so close to home and can not imagine the devastating losses for all the families involved. Sometimes there are just stark reminders of the fragility of life. Sending much love, prayers and thoughts to them all ❤️❤️❤️.
