We are pleased to announce that we have raised £174 for Linden Hall Community Centre in Hampton Village. This includes the proceeds of our raffle with prizes donated from The Cake Box and from Jane and Nick @ Jolly Coopers. Also from the sale of Arts and Crafts entries after the competition on the Green last Sunday. Thank you to everyone involved in this fund raising event.

I hope you are all enjoying the weather! .Just to let you know that we are closing early today @ 2.30 pm (Thursday) as we are travelling to Wales for a family wedding. Nearly ready for the Cake Competition on Hampton Green., tomorrow/Sunday. We are also running a raffle to raise money for Linden Hall Community Centre. Doggy cup cakes and Cake from the Cake Box Hampton and a bottle of Champagne from Jolly Coopers. Do come and see us in the competition marquee. Raffle tickets £1 each.

The Cake Competition on Hampton Green is this coming Sunday, 24th May. There is still time to take part, applications need to be in by this Thursday. The QR code on the poster below takes you to the application form, or you can pick up a paper copy from my shop. Categories are home bakers adults/over 16's, children under 16 and professionals. Looking forward to seeing some familiar faces.

More cakes and cupcakes that need a good home! I have just finished a 2 day baking workshop and have a selection of 4" round sample cakes and cupcakes including chocolate buttermilk, vanilla and jam, lemon and lemon curd, gluten free carrot cake and vegan cupcakes. They are "cake for tea time" rather than decorated cakes and the prices reflect this. I will be at the shop till at least 5.00 pm as I am clearing and tidying. Do pop by if you are interested. I will then take them home to Sunbury where they cam be collected later today or tomorrow morning. Please ring/ comment / email if interested. Thanks, Jo x

Dear all, I thought I would give you the heads up for an event on the Hampton Village Green on Sunday May 24th. It is primarily a Dog Show, but also includes a Cake Decorating Competition and an Art Competition. The categories for the Cake competition include Professional Cake makers, Home Bakers and a cupcake option for children. For professional bakers it is a chance to promote your businesses. For everyone else it is a chance to get creative, enjoy taking part and maybe win a prize. There are some wonderful home bakers in Hampton Village, some of which I have taught! Let's put on a good show! I will post details early next week.
