I cannot tell you how exhausterwhelmulated I have felt recently, ping ponging from one hat to another and never feeling like I’m on top of anything. Oddly this month I’ve actually had to force myself to start the May “Around the Maypole” cards, which is very unlike me, but with only 6 days to go until the deadline I finally got round to it this afternoon and have enjoyed playing with felt and ribbon to create my little Maypoles. The therapy of stitching and being creative. (Or procrastinating from my mega to-do lists?)

It’s been a long time since I made up any more Stitchscape kits!! Hopefully I can get a few made today, and then the next couple of weeks are definitely going to have to be kit focused to build back up my stock 🤯

Proof of the portability of a Stitchscape. I’m on a park bench, waiting to start a St George’s Day parade with my Guides and Rainbows, in the sunshine, iced coffee from Tesco… anyone else think that this is a good start to a Sunday?

Mega handy having your own shop to buy threads from when you’ve discovered you haven’t brought the right colours with you on the bus to work! 😂 Now I can stitch on the way home!!

Finished it!! 🐚

A little hoop started at the Common Threads II exhibition as an example for my workshop. I think I’ll call this once Trevaunance Cove in the hopes I might one day go back to Cornwall and visit there for the supposedly amazing rockpools!

Beautiful Quilted Traditions cards are flying off to their new homes in the post today. I absolutely love the mini hexies but what other quilting techniques or panel designs can you pick out?
