My late mother in law was an amazing crafter. Embroidery, lace making, quilting and much more all with fantastic precision and an artistic flair.

We found this wool tapestry panel in one of the many boxes and knew it needed to be a finished piece.

I found the remnant for the back in my stash and made up this cute cushion.

I think it was designed the other way up but preferred it this way to look like hearts. šŸ„°

A few optional additions on these lovely blinds. The fabric wasnā€™t quite wide enough for the window but a contrast edge gave a fun pop of colour.

Linings donā€™t need to be plain. We chose a beige striped blackout lining as a treat for people arriving at the door.

Added flaps cover the headrail ends on an outside recess blind.
