A wee scorched oak bud vase with a touch of tartan. The scorching process opened up a crack, which was decorated either side with copper wire eyelets and laced with ribbon to create a small piece of Scottish charm.

Welcome to Wonky Wood Wednesday! A pile of perfectly imperfect pieces for sale

Over the years we've accumulated a selection of pieces that didn't quite meet our high standards - slight imperfections from being on display, a bit of natural cracking or warping, or the occasional experimental idea. They are still special to us, but we offer them at a fraction of the price.

Looking forward to another season here -

The Drum Farm Gallery, Gift Shop will be closed as normal today with it being Sunday, but also closed tomorrow for stock taking, and to allow the makers to set up their displays ready to open for the season on Wednesday the 1st Aptil. Thereafter, we will be open 10 to 5 Monday to Saturday.
We are looking forward to another great season in the gallery.

Give a Gnome a Home! These wee hand-carved gnomes are a new addition to when it fully opens for the season on 1st April. Not long now!

A live-edge twig pot, turned from hazel well over a year ago and left to see how stable it would be. With some wood, the bark can shrink away and detach. Rather pleasingly, the hazel has retained the bark and is now available for sale

Had a wonderful morning delivering stock to the Redburn Coffee Stop. The sun was shining, the birds were singing and I was able to sample Jane's delicious coffee. We are privileged to have the support of this local business and look forward to many more coffee's when opens on Monday 23rd March!

Following on from last week’s bowl with its shimmering chameleon‑pigment ring, here’s a wee matching bud vase with the bowl in the background.
