I swapped being the tutor for being the student… and I loved every minute! ✨

I've wanted to try lino printing for ages, so it was great to finally get carving.

Huge thanks to Tom at ThirteenEight for a brilliant workshop. I love his artwork, his inspiring studio, and the welcoming creative community he's built.

It's so important to keep learning, keep experimenting, and remember what it feels like to be a beginner. 💛

Thanks Tom!

This weekend, I had the incredible opportunity to record four songs at Abbey Road Studios with my wonderful Rock Choir South Hampshire • Choirs led by Jan Moll buddies. It still feels surreal.

A few years ago, I would never have imagined writing those words. After developing Long Covid, I lost my voice for over a year and spent six months in speech therapy. While I still live with other L-C symptoms, I made a conscious decision not to let a chronic condition define what I could do.

Joining Rock Choir wasn't about becoming a singer—I can confidently say I'm still gloriously off-key! 😊 My goal was simply to improve the lung capacity I'd lost. I never expected it would lead to singing in one of the world's most iconic recording studios.

I'm sure this is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and one I'll treasure forever. More than anything, it reminded me just how much progress is possible, even when the journey feels impossibly long.

And to my wonderful speech therapist, Sam, if you're still following my journey—thank you. Your patience, encouragement and expertise helped me find my voice again, and I'll always be grateful.

It feels like I've only just finished one Stepping Stones programme, and already the next one is on its way!

In the meantime, I'm delighted to share a showcase of some of the incredible mugs created by our latest group of young people, freshly out of the kiln this week. Each piece is unique and reflects the creativity, effort, and personality of its maker.

Stepping Stones is a programme run by Hampshire Cultural Trust that promotes positive mental health for young people through creativity, helping participants build emotional resilience, confidence, and self-expression.

I couldn't be prouder of what these young artists have achieved. 💙
Thank you to Gosport Museum and Art Gallery for hosting these workshops.

What an incredible day at The Brickworks Museum! With my fellow Southern Ceramic Group members ❤ (can you tell how THRILLED I am?😁)

Our talented team of Raku Wizards spent the day creating pottery magic and sharing this fascinating firing process with visitors. Raku never fails to amaze me — it’s mysterious, unpredictable, and every piece tells its own unique story.

The best part? The team at the museum has invited us back to do it all again! We can’t wait to return, fire up the kilns, and create even more ceramic magic together.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and made the day so special.

I’ve sculpted a giant shell so visitors know exactly where to find me. 🐚If you spot the shell, you’ve found me.
