💚 I'm absolutely chuffed to bits...

Opening the latest edition of The Stotfold News and finding this wonderful letter of recommendation from my lovely customers, Pat & Gilbert, completely made my day. ❤️

Thank you both so much for taking the time to write such kind words.

Knowing how nervous you were about transforming your beloved dining room furniture, and hearing how delighted you are with the finished result, means the world to me.

It was such a pleasure getting to know you both, and I'm incredibly grateful that you trusted me with your furniture.

A huge thank you as well to Stotfold News Magazine for publishing your letter. If you receive the magazine locally, you'll find Pat & Gilbert's lovely review on page 27.

As a small independent business based right here in Stotfold, support from both my wonderful customers and our local community means more than you know.

If you've been thinking about giving a treasured piece a new lease of life, I'd love to help. I specialise in bespoke furniture transformations, updating your own vintage furniture to suit your home and style while preserving the character that made you fall in love with it in the first place. Whether it's a writing bureau, sideboard, chest of drawers or another much-loved piece, every commission is thoughtfully designed and handcrafted with care.

It's all in the detail. 💚

CREATING WITH CLAY
Last week I took my Dad and good friend Debbie to The Settlement, and we created little tealight houses from clay. 🏠

Such a relaxing morning and we were all chuffed with our creations. Can you guess which is mine? 🤔

How often do you get to do something creative?

Occasional creativity unlocks our ability to solve problems, adapt to rapid changes, express our unique identities, and lowers daily stress ... and it's fun! 😊

Once summer is over, I'll be planning my seasonal workshops, so watch this space if you're craving some creativity.

We made a VERY local delivery today - my clients couldn't really have been much closer, as they were literally round the corner!

This pair of vintage pine bedside drawers were updated from 80's orange pine to F&B's Card Room Green.

What a transformation. 💚

I've been quiet here, as there is a LOT going on behind the scenes atm!

I haven't even thought about changing to my married name yet ... too busy changing my business name and writing a blueprint for my new website, oh and looking for a new car.

I might change my tagline from 'It's All In The Detail' to 'It's all Happening'!😆

Anyway, there's some new and totally unique tableware on its way too, using Fleur's Love in Portofino yellow and it's super summery.😁

WE DID A THING 💕

You may have noticed I was offline last week, as we were on a big family holiday in Wales ... and Glen and I got married! 💍

We haven't been together that long - only almost 20 years! 😆

Whilst we had the family gathered together from all over the UK we thought we'd just slip in a quick wedding, whilst we were visiting Portmeirion Village. 😉

If you've followed me for a while you'll know it's my favourite place in the world and also where my mum's ashes are scattered. A very special place. ❤️

Today's our 1-week anniversary. 👰🤵‍♂

A personal name change is on the cards, along with a business rebrand and a new website, so lots going on behind the scenes. 😀

Happy Tuesday from me, Michelle, the new Mrs Dear x 😊

It's all in the detail, and the crisp, clean lines of course!

And the marvellous metallic ... well that could only be GILD in Ch*****ne. 🥂🍾

It's easy to add a little bling to your furniture - choose your favourite metallic on my website.

DECISIONS, DECISIONS ... which colour would you fall in love with?

Get in touch today to commission me to transform this beautiful Beeanese tallboy just for you and your home.

And yes, I've used AI to 'paint' them - it is a wonderful tool, especially when you see the original naked piece in the middle, with the awful rose decals 😆.

Commission this piece and you can choose from hundreds of paint colours, either to match or complement your bedroom décor.

Add a metallic accent colour for extra elegance. ✨️

Add wallpaper-lined drawers for a wonderful finishing touch. ✨️

This stylish mid-century storage has stunning vintage handles, five dovetailed drawers built by craftsmen, and has curves in all the right places!

So what colour would you love?
