Another wonderful day in the Barn! We would like to say a huge thank you to all of our incredible stallholders and guests for making the day so special.

🎨To our talented stallholders – we hope you had some fantastic conversations, made new connections and enjoyed sharing your amazing skills, creativity and passion with everyone who visited. The talent we are fortunate to showcase never ceases to amaze us.

🛍️To our guests – thank you for coming along and supporting local makers, artists and creatives. We hope you were as blown away as we always are by the incredible talent that lives right here on our doorstep. Your support is truly invaluable and means so much to each and every maker and artist.

👐A special thank you also goes to our volunteers. We had even more helping hands today, and every single one of you was simply incredible. Events like this wouldn’t run so smoothly without your enthusiasm, kindness and hard work.

🐄 To Bidlea Dairy, the Orchards Farm for allowing us to use the gorgeous barn again! It really does provide the perfect backdrop 👌🏼

🤩And finally, a heartfelt thank you to Alison and Will from Bridge the Gap. Alongside the two Jo’s, they form our planning committee, and without their dedication, support, and countless hours behind the scenes, none of this would be possible.

ConNEXTions provides a non-judgmental, confidential service aimed at helping individuals with addiction issues re-establish their self-esteem and confidence. They achieve this through wonderful group activities like meditation, writing, exercise, and, of course, arts and crafts, all within a fun and friendly environment. 🎨♥️

Here at Makers in the Valley, we are huge believers in art as therapy, and we are honored to support everyone who is giving their absolute best on their recovery journey. Jo is a true Gelli Printing master. She loves to forage in nature, gathering leaves and flowers to use alongside vibrant acrylics, bringing her stunning, colourful pieces to life.
